PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Fixed insect screen for windows is a product designed to keep out insects. It is compatible with wooden windows that open outward. This product is installed in the wooden window frame with screws placed in pre-drilled holes. Depending on the customer's wishes, the insect screen can be fitted with rotating clamps or hinges. If the hinged option is selected, two hinges will be mounted onto the frame of the insect screen, which is then attached to the window frame with screws. The other side of the window frame contains a magnet that the frame connects to using magnetic force. The insect screen can be opened on that side.

NOTE: When using rotating clamps, the insect screen is always mounted in front of the window frame.

Furthermore, this product can be mounted either in or on the window frame. Depending on the situation. The fixed insect screen for windows is available with three types of mesh, namely standard grey or black mesh. Anti-pollen mesh is available at an additional cost. The frame features extremely thin mitred profiles.

If the window opens outward with a window stay, it is important to ensure that this window stay does not extend beyond the inside of the window frame. If it does, the existing window stay will have to be replaced by a telescopic window stay before the product can be installed. The fixed insect screen for windows is available in ten standard RAL colours. Non-standard RAL colours are also available at an additional cost.

If the product is taller than 1500 mm, this product will feature an intermediate upright.
