The original plissé insect screen for doors, also known as the traditional insect screen, is a product designed to keep insects from entering your home through an open door. It can be mounted onto any plastic, wooden or aluminium door frame. Depending on the situation, this product can be mounted either in or on the door frame. No additional accessories are needed for an in-frame installation.
The product features a six-centimetre upper section that the door moves through. This component is mounted in the frame with screws placed in pre-drilled holes. At the bottom, the product slides through a bottom guide rail that can be either straight or angled. This depends on the underside of your door frame. The bottom guide rail is always taped on.
The plissé insect screen for doors features a chain system with a chain that slides in and out.
The standard widths are 960 mm, 1300 mm, 1600 mm and 1900 mm. Depending on the width of your door frame, the door will have one of these widths. The Original plissé insect screen for doors is installed using clips that the door clicks on to. This means the product can easily be removed during the winter. The door is available in five standard RAL colours; non-standard RAL colours are available at an additional cost. When the product is closed, the mesh is not visible.
The pleated mesh is only available in black.

The robust and sturdy profiles make this product ideal for use outside. The black pleated mesh moves in and out like a harmonica. The upper section that the plissé insect screen for doors moves through measures six centimetres. The product uses a chain mechanism with a chain that moves in and out when the pull-bars are operated.
The pull-bars can be operated by hand. Of course, a grip with which to operate the door is also available. With its simple yet sturdy design, this high-end product will look great in your door frame.
